Benign Spots - Seborrheic keratoses, Lentigos, Cherry Angiomas, Skin Tags and more

Time and genetics can leave us with an array of not so dangerous, but sometimes irritating, brown spots, “warty” growths, red spots, skin tags and more.

These bumps and spots can be treated in a variety of ways – whether it be through laser, electrocautery, freezing with liquid nitrogen or more.  The best first step is a consultation.  Careful evaluation will allow your dermatologist to determine the underlying cause and the best treatment course to meet your cosmetic goals.

Before your Treatment

If the spots are on the face, we recommend you pack a wide brimmed hat to wear and protect your skin after your procedure.  Depending on the treatment, numbing may or may not be required.

Recovery

Treatments have different recovery times.  However, in most cases, it takes about 7-10 days for treated areas to fully heal.
